Reporting fraud or a suspicious message

Report the person

Open the host's profile and use Report. Pick what happened: fraud or a scam, harassment or abuse, pushing payment or booking off FanCars, unsafe driving, damage to a vehicle, or something else. Add whatever detail you have.

A report opens a support case with an FC number, shown to you as soon as it is filed. Fraud, harassment, and unsafe driving are treated as serious on the first report rather than waiting for a pattern.

Keep the booking on FanCars

If someone asks you to pay by transfer, to arrange the trip by text, or to cancel and settle up directly, that is the moment to report them. A trip booked off FanCars has no deposit, no protection, no case history, and no refund path. The request on its own is a reportable reason.

Suspicious emails and messages

FanCars will never ask you for your password. If a message asks for one, or sends you to a payment page that is not part of checkout, do not use it. Forward it to us from support and we will confirm whether it came from us.

What happens after

Our trust and safety team reviews every report. Repeated reports against the same person escalate on their own.
