What FanCars is
FanCars is a marketplace for renting cars from the people who own them. You pay the host's price, with no renter service fee added on top.
Creating your account
You must be 18 or older to open a FanCars account. Sign up with an email and password or with Google, then confirm your email address.
Getting verified to drive
Verification runs in four steps: your details, your license and insurance, a short camera check, and the result. Most drivers are approved in about a minute.
How booking works
Search, pick your dates and pickup spot, then either book instantly or send a request the host has 24 hours to answer.
Your FanScore as a renter
FanScore is your driver-safety rating, from 300 to 850. Hosts see it on your booking request, and it moves the price you pay.
Fan cars and everyday cars
Cars on FanCars are sorted into fan cars and everyday cars. Fan cars rank first in search and can be featured, but both kinds book exactly the same way.
