One account per person

FanCars is one account per person. This is not a formality, and verification enforces it.

How it is enforced

A verified driver's license number can only be held by one account. If yours is already on another account, your verification is held for a person to look at rather than approved.

The live face check is also compared against faces already verified here. The same face on a second account is treated the same way.

Matching a banned account

If the license or the face matches an account that has been banned, that is ban evasion, and the new account is banned too. Making a fresh account is not a way back in. If you think a ban was wrong, say so through support rather than starting again.

If your details have changed

Use the account you already have.

• Email: you can change the email on your account once a month. You enter your current password, we send a confirmation link to the new address, and we send a cancel link to the old one so nobody else can move your account.
• Name, license, or insurance: upload the new documents and verify again on the same account.

Two drivers in one household

Each person needs their own account. To share a trip, add the other person as a driver on the booking instead of sharing a login. Their own license and insurance get checked, and both of you are covered by the trip record.
