Removing a driver
Open the Authorized drivers panel on your trip and choose Remove beside their name. You cannot remove yourself: the primary driver stays on their own trip.
The straightforward case
If the driver has not been verified yet, or their FanScore is not what your price is anchored to, removing them is a single confirmation. They stop being authorized immediately.
When an acknowledgment is required
If removing that person would lower your price, the confirmation is heavier, because that is exactly the situation where someone might be tempted to remove a driver who is still going to drive. You have to tick a box asserting that they will not drive the vehicle at any point during the trip.
Read what it says before you tick it. If they drive anyway and the car is damaged, your deposit, your insurance, or your card will be charged to cover the repairs, and the claim counts against your own FanScore once it is resolved.
What happens to your price
Removing a driver reprices the trip. If the price drops and you have already been charged, the difference is refunded to your card. If the host has not approved the trip yet, the authorization on your card is adjusted instead.
What is kept
The removal stays on the trip as a record, is posted into your message thread with the host, and resurfaces if either side reports damage.
