Who can drive the car
Every trip has an authorized driver list. You, the person who booked, are the primary driver. Nobody else may drive the car unless they are on that list and have completed their own verification.
Why it matters
Letting someone drive who is not on the list breaks the Terms of Service and voids coverage for the trip. If the car is damaged while they are driving, it is your responsibility: the charge lands on you, and a resolved damage claim on your trip pulls your own FanScore down.
Who can be added
Anyone with a valid license and their own insurance who is willing to create a FanCars account and go through driver verification. You can add up to three additional drivers to a trip.
When the list can change
Drivers can be added or removed while a trip is pending, approved, or already running. Once the trip is finished the list is fixed.
Where to see it
Open your trip from Trips. The Authorized drivers panel lists everyone with their status beside their name: invite sent, account linked with verification pending, or verified. Your host sees the same list, read only, so they know exactly who may take the keys.
