Host no-shows
Before you report
Message the host and give them a few minutes. Traffic and a misunderstood meeting spot are the usual causes, and a message often sorts it out faster than a report.
Reporting a no-show
The report is on your trip page. It opens one hour before your pickup time and closes 24 hours after it. You can only use it on a confirmed trip you have not checked into.
What happens next
- The trip is canceled straight away and your full trip total is refunded.
- Your security deposit hold is released.
- A support case is opened with an FC number so you can follow it.
- The host's record is flagged and our team follows up with them.
What it is not for
Do not report a no-show because your plans changed. Cancel the trip instead, which follows the listing's cancellation policy. Reports are reviewed, and the host is told one was filed.
If the window has closed
More than a day after pickup the report is no longer available. Contact us from support with the trip details and we will settle the refund by hand.
