Booking an airport handoff

If the host has saved an airport pickup spot, it appears in the pickup list on the listing and again at checkout, labeled with the airport and its fee. Choose it the same way you would choose any other spot.

Adding your flight

Once you have picked an airport spot, checkout asks for your arriving flight number and date. It is optional, and you can add, change, or remove the flight later from your trip page while the trip is upcoming or running.

What happens then

We follow the flight and show its status on your trip: on time, in the air, landed, delayed, cancelled, or diverted, with the current arrival estimate. Your meeting window is set from that arrival, with a short buffer for the host to get to the curb.

If your arrival moves enough to matter, a request to shift the meeting window is sent to your host automatically, in your name, and they accept or decline it from the trip. The change is noted in your message thread so you can both see it.

Returning to an airport

Choose an airport spot on the return leg of your booking and the host meets you there. Flight tracking follows your arrival only, so tell the host your departure time in the message thread and leave real margin for traffic, fuel, and the walk to the terminal.
