Pickup and return locations
Choosing where to get the car
The listing shows the host's own location, which is free. Many hosts also save extra pickup spots, each with its own flat price, and airport spots are marked with the airport and city. If the host offers delivery, you can type any address instead. Hosts who set a per-mile rate are charged by distance from the car's home location; the rest charge one flat delivery fee. Either way, enter the address and the fee appears before you book.
Until your booking is confirmed you see the car's area, not its street address. The exact address is shared once the trip is confirmed.
Returning somewhere else
The return leg defaults to the same place you picked up, which costs nothing extra. You can also choose any of the host's other saved spots, or type a different address for the host to collect the car from. When the two legs differ, each is priced separately and both fees show in the breakdown before you pay.
Changing it after you book
Propose the change from your trip page. The host names a price for it, and there is one round of counter-offers if you disagree. Nothing takes effect until you both accept.
Worth doing
Confirm the meeting spot in the message thread the day before, especially for delivery, where the host is driving to you. At busy pickup points, give yourself buffer on both ends.
