How FanScore works

Your FanScore lives on the FanScore tab of your account. It runs from 300 to 850, with a band label: Poor, Fair, Good, Excellent or Exceptional.

What goes into it

Every factor is listed on the tab with the points it added or removed:

  • Identity and license, confirmed through verification
  • Your driving and background record
  • Years since your license was issued
  • An active insurance policy, and how much liability coverage it carries
  • Trips completed on FanCars, which count for more as they add up
  • Reviews hosts left after your trips
  • Damage reported against you by hosts
  • Account standing, including any sanctions or open reports

You get a score once your driver verification is done. Before that there is nothing to score.

Watching it move

The tab keeps your history. Each change is labeled with what caused it, such as a completed trip, a review received, or a damage claim resolved, alongside the points it moved. A small chart shows the trend.

Raising it

Under the factors, FanCars lists the actions that would add the most points for you specifically, with the gain each one is worth. Finishing verification, adding an active policy, and completing trips are the usual ones.

If a factor looks wrong

Use "Dispute a factor" on the same tab. Pick the factor, explain what is inaccurate, attach anything that helps, and a specialist reviews it. You get a case number and we follow up there.

Hosts see your score and band on every booking request.
