How FanScore changes your price

Your FanScore adjusts what you pay for a trip.

The three zones

• 580 to 740: you pay the host's rate exactly as set. Most drivers land here.
• Above 740: a safe-driver discount. It drops quickly just above the band and flattens out near the top of the scale.
• Below 580: a risk premium. It is gentle just under the band and climbs steeply as the score falls, so the difference between 570 and 350 is large.

Your FanScore tab states the effect outright: standard host rates, a percentage off host rates, or a multiple of them.

Why the exact number varies by car

Each host sets their own ceiling on the risk premium and their own best discount, within platform limits. The figure on your tab is based on standard settings, so the adjustment on a particular listing can differ. The price you see on a listing already includes it.

Trips with more than one driver

When you add drivers to a trip, pricing is anchored to the lowest FanScore among them. Better co-drivers pull the effective score up slightly, but never far. Adding a risky driver reprices the whole trip, so it is worth checking before you invite someone.

Moving your price

The score moves with your record, and the price follows on your next booking. Completing trips cleanly, keeping an active policy on file, and finishing verification are the changes that show up fastest.
