Hourly rentals

Not every trip needs a whole day. Hosts can set an hourly rate, and when they do, the car can be booked for part of a day.

Finding hourly cars

Use the Hourly rentals quick filter on the home page. It returns only cars whose host has turned hourly pricing on.

How long you can book

Between 2 and 24 hours. Each host picks their own minimum and maximum inside that range, and the listing shows theirs. If you pick a return time earlier in the day than your pickup time, the trip runs into the next morning, and the return date is shown next to the time so there is no ambiguity.

What it costs

Hours multiplied by the hourly rate. Some hosts also set a lowest booking price, so a very short trip can cost a little more than the raw hourly math suggests. The full breakdown sits beside the form before you pay.

If the host sets a mileage allowance, an hourly trip counts it per hour rather than per day. The allowance and the rate beyond it are shown with the price.

Booking one

Pick a single date, a pickup time, and a return time. Everything else works the same as a daily trip: the same pickup and delivery choices, the same extras, the same check-in walkaround, the same deposit.
