Where they appear

If the host offers extras, an Extras section shows up at checkout under your pickup and return choices. Tick the ones you want. Each shows its price and whether it is charged per day or per trip, and your selection lands in the price breakdown straight away, so the total you see is the total you pay.

What hosts commonly offer

Child seats, beach chairs, bike racks, and unlimited mileage are the usual ones. It varies by host, and plenty of listings have none at all.

Asking for something that is not listed

There is a special requests box on the same page. Use it for the things that are not really products: a slightly later pickup, a request to have the car charged, a question about a route. The host reads it along with your booking.

If what you are asking for costs money, agree it in the message thread first so nobody is surprised by the number.

After you have booked

Extras are chosen at checkout and become part of the booking. To add one afterwards, message your host. Depending on what it is, they may add it as a charge on the trip instead.
